Log into the Online MUG chatroom for live WWDC Keynote coverage today

Monday, June 28th, 2004  by Bill Palmer

As most of you are aware by now, there are no plans for a live QuickTime streaming broadcast of today's Steve Jobs WWDC Keynote, nor will Apple be broadcasting it live at the Apple Stores. With no live Keynote coverage, what's an Apple junkie to do?

Never fear, the Online Mac User Group is here to help. Although we aren't attending the Keynote in person, we'll be scouring the web for live reports from anyone who is...and we'll be posting up-to-the-minute news, as soon as we can get our hands on it, in the MUG chatroom. So join us today, beginning at 1:00 pm Eastern Time (10:00 am Pacific Time) in iChat chatroom "billpalmernet" so that you can get your hands on news from the Keynote as soon as we do, and discuss it with each other to your heart's content.

You don't need to become an Online MUG member in order to participate in our live Keynote chat, but we encourage you to join (it's free, after all). With more than five hundred members worldwide, the Online MUG just plain kicks butt. We don't know how else to say it. To become a member, simply send an email to MUG@billpalmer.net. And in any case, we'll see you today for special live Keynote coverage at 1:00 pm EST (10:00 am PST) in iChat room "billpalmernet"...see you there!
