iPodland: culprit behind iPod plane fire is captured, later escapes custody

by Bill Palmer

Sunday, December 28th, 2003

Earlier this week, a planeload of iPods mysteriously caught fire, in what was seen as the only way left to slow down the skyrocketing rate of iPod sales worldwide:

Authorities took an individual into custody as he fled the scene, whom they could only describe as a "cat-like" figure who has had legal troubles in the past but was thought to have gone legit:

Unfortunately, the individual was killed this morning while trying to escape from his cell:

No mascots were harmed in the creation of this cartoon.
