The real reason why the McDonald's iTunes promotion still hasn't been announced

by Bill Palmer

Sunday, December 21st, 2003

Apple and McDonald's seem to have hit a few early snags in their new partnership...

"Hello, McDonald's? Yeah, this is Steve again. Uh, listen, we sell the songs for a dollar, not the iPods. You might want to change that sign of yours before people get the wrong idea."

"Ah, I see, Steve. So you're saying that giving away a billion iPods was a bad idea?"

You know the drill: give me a shout, or share your thoughts over on the billpalmer.net discussion boards. And of course, you can run your own inexpensive text ads on the front page of billpalmer.net for only a few dollars per day.
